Education Oversight Board

The Education Oversight Board is the highest level of governance and oversight within Cordie, operating at non-executive director level for the company. Its role is to support the board of Directors delivering on our customer and regulatory obligations, including our safeguarding and information security obligations.

We operate under clear terms of reference, which are open to scrutiny from our regulators.

 

Dr Jane Ellis-Brush, FCIPS (CHAIR)

Jane has extensive senior-level general management experience in multiple sectors. She is currently the Director of MBA Teaching Programmes at the University of Bath, as well as a founder of 1st Impressions, a charity supporting disadvantaged women re-establish employment. Jane is a former President of the CIPS.

ANDY TULLOCH, MCIPS

Andy has over 25 years’ industry experience in the field of procurement. For the past 15 years he has been responsible for delivering high quality procurement and commercial training throughout the world, with a particular focus on CIPS qualifications delivery in many different sectors. Andy is Cordie’s special educational needs and neurodiversity champion.

nick maltby

Nick has c.20 years’ experience in the further education sector and currently operates as Group Subcontracting & Contracts Lead for the South Hampshire College Group. He has direct experience of successfully implementing Ofsted requirements and is Cordie’s safeguarding champion.

ian thompson, FCIPS

Ian is one of the co-founding directors of Cordie, a former chartered engineer and senior procurement practitioner. As well as a recognised author in the procurement field, he has worked closely with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) as an educational adviser. Ian is Cordie’s information security lead on ISO 27001.

Andrea Reynolds, FCIPS

Andrea co-founded Cordie in 2003. She has worked closely with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) as a senior assessor. She has published several leading texts in procurement. As Cordie’s safeguarding lead, Andrea is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

SARAH WALLACE, MCIPS

Sarah is Cordie’s Head of Apprenticeships, responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of Cordie’s apprenticeship programmes across Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. Having been a former apprentice herself, Sarah now teaches on our programmes as well as supporting Cordie’s safeguarding and information security teams.
