Have you missed the ‘buzz’ of being in the training room? Many learners and training providers that we speak to have said they miss those added levels of engagement from being face-to-face with a group of like-minded learners. The great news is that recent weeks and months have shown a significant return to face-to-face training across industry!
In the last six weeks alone, Cordie has delivered training events across multiple sectors throughout the UK, including the public sector, banking, insurance, food manufacturing and the health sector. Clients are now asking for face-to-face training delivery in equal measures alongside online virtual delivery.
Over the last 2+ years, the education sector has experienced a seismic shift in using digital solutions effectively to deliver excellent training, but some still argue that nothing beats the levels of engagement that can be achieved in a physical training setting. During the global pandemic, Cordie saw a significant uplift in the use of its eLearning solutions as well as the delivery of training courses via web-based platforms such as Teams, Webex and Google Meet.
Cordie Director, Ian Thompson recently reported: “Our clients like the fact we can deliver across multiple media and this is most likely to be the way forward for the next two or three years. We have received extraordinarily positive feedback about the energy, passion and effectiveness of our online delivery, but we also recognise that clients and training participants miss the added social engagement you get when learning face-to-face. Recent weeks have seen a sharp increase in requests for classroom-based training and our trainers have started delivering again in London, Yorkshire, the Midlands, Scotland and Southern England. In all truth, we love it too, although we fully expect virtual training to remain within our portfolio of training options.”
