The British Values initiative was set up by the UK Government to create and encourage social unity across the communities in which we live and work. It is about how we conduct ourselves and our commercial activities, as British citizens. To help Cordie learners understand more about British Values and how they impact upon the procurement profession, we have recently launched a high quality interactive eLearning module that provides a useful insight and practical guide.
We are delighted to announce that the UK’s Department for Education has recently confirmed our application to be a Main Provider of apprenticeship programmes was successful. This builds on our successes as a supporting provider and opens up more opportunities for learners to access Government-funded opportunities to gain procurement qualifications.
Have you missed the ‘buzz’ of being in the training room? Many learners and training providers that we speak to have said they miss those added levels of engagement from being face-to-face with a group of like-minded learners. The great news is that recent weeks and months have shown a significant return to face-to-face training across industry!
The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply’s “Centre of Excellence” status is awarded to approved study centres within the CIPS education network who consistently deliver exceptional exam results and possess the highest standards of education and welfare support. It is the highest form of quality accreditation awarded by CIPS.
Once again, we are pleased to announce the success rates of our apprentices working through their End Point Assessments on the Level 4 Commercial Apprenticeship in Procurement & Supply. During the last submission round, we have continued our 100% pass-rate where 50% of our apprentices have gained a distinction grade.
Cordie has been accredited with the Matrix Standard certification for the ongoing support with information, advice and guidance (IAG) that we provide to our learners. This is an international quality standard run by the UK’s Department of Education to promote the wider aspects of learning and development among our students and customers.
Once again Cordie students of the CIPS professional qualifications have excelled in their exams! The exam results for the CIPS Diploma in Procurement & Supply qualifications are released globally eight times a year. Today Cordie had 216 student exam results across a number of our public ‘open’ study programmes, as well as our in-house corporate programmes and apprenticeship programmes. Of most note, was our 100% pass-rate for all study modules at the Level 5 Advanced Diploma and the Level 6 Professional Diploma qualifications.
Negotiation is perhaps the one universal skill that all commercial managers, however senior, need to maintain and continue to work on throughout their professional career. One example of this is a global sales negotiation programme that Cordie has continued to deliver over the past seven years. Even during the pandemic lockdown, we have continued to deliver online virtual sales training for one of our global clients based throughout Japan, China, Singapore, India, Europe, UK, LatAm and the US.
Following the success of our CIPS eLearning supporting students through their CIPS professional qualifications, we have recently extended our partnership with Evocurement to distribute CIPS eLearning services across Central and Southern African nations, including: Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Lesotho, South Africa and Kenya.
