Information security is an essential feature of doing business with people you trust. Last week, Cordie took a giant step forward in this important area by achieving its ISO 27001:2022 certification for information security, cyber security and privacy protection. For years, Cordie has maintained up-to-date cyber security and data protection policies in line with the statutory and regulatory requirements of the UK. This has included compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as well as maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for our systems and devices.
We take data protection, information assurance and privacy extremely seriously and have always gone out of our way to protect our customers’ interests and sensitive information.
Last week, upon conclusion of Day 4 of our external accreditation, we achieved the leading internationally-recognised ISO 27001 certification. This involved scrutiny of:
