We’ve updated our policies! Each and every year, the Cordie governance team reviews and updates each of our policies. We do this to ensure we keep our governance and internal controls in line with current legislation and modern best practice, to ensure you get the best standards of education from us.

We are regularly audited by regulators such as Ofsted, CIPS and the DfE’s matrix standard. Excellent policy and practice is therefore critical to everything we do and it underpins the excellent achievements of our learners.”

This year, notable changes in our policies have included:
Introduction of an Anti-Bullying & Anti-Harassment Policy to complement our policies on whistleblowing, safeguarding, equalities and diversity, and complaints;
Broadening of our policy on sustainability to include the wider topics of Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) principles;
Broadening the scope of our equalities policy to ensure that matters on inclusion are also covered;
Clarifying that our policy on attendance includes the use of cameras during virtual teaching and training classes.
Cordie operates an Education Oversight Board, independently chaired by Dr Jane Ellis-Brush FCIPS of the University of Bath. This forms the highest level of governance within Cordie and holds our executive directors to account on legislative, regulatory and governance matters.
All policies are overseen and authorised by Cordie’s Education Oversight Board.
